Our mission, vision and history
Since our launch in February 2003, CareWorks has supported thousands of people through employment, training, community connections, pastoral care, and a range of social, health and well-being activities.
We believe that every person can be an active participant in the community, and our goal is to create a supportive environment where this can occur.
Governance
Northern Community CareWorks is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. We are a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission. We have a Board of Directors who oversee the vision and strategy of the organisation. The NCC Ltd Board meets regularly in addition to our Annual General Meeting.
